WALGREEN DRAMA CENTER

The reason I chose the Walgreen Drama Center is because the space was more architectural than the CC Little bus stop. This is a building that has a roof, walls, doors, windows, etc. whereas CC Little was more of a gathering space and an indication of purpose than something more concrete. When thinking about this project, as well, I found that CC Little had much more to do with the people interacting with the buses and other people, and not interacting with the space. In the Walgreen there are many more spaces that are used and abused by the students and faculty because that have a much more established purpose.

For the shoot, I think I'm going to focus on the different seating arrangements in the Walgreen and how sitting at each of those designated spaces makes you see the space. In the video above, I am sitting on the top floor on a bench that was put facing out into the lobby. There are seats in the lobby that allow one to interact with people as they walk by as well as benches in front of the professors' offices. I think that investigating these seating areas and how they interact with the space and people around them will be very interesting and cool!
